Raymond & Mr Timpkins Revue, James Dowdeswell

    RAYMOND & MR TIMPKINS REVUE

Lightning fast choreography meets uber swift editing in a fantasmagorical collision of quality entertainment. An overload of velvet, sandals and multi-hued wool provides a startling accompaniment, the whole effect being that of a slim man and a fat man putting their bums in your face.

If you like music and let’s face it, who doesn’t, you’ll like it. If you like silliness, middle aged men dancing and unsavoury acts, you’ll probably love it. You should try it either way. "Absolutely hilarious" - Viz

"This is comedy that reminds us why we go out to see live shows. And it wears its incredible skill, its labour-intensity and its comic genius so lightly one might think it is just a bit of silliness...what I took away from this was a sore face, a shortness of breath and the need for fresh underwear." - Kate Copstick, The Scotsman

    JAMES DOWDESWELL

James is an imaginative storytelling comedian who combines deft stand-up with daft stories. He grew up in a West Country pub and is an expert in craft beer and wine...

A headline act at most UK comedy clubs, James has appeared on numerous TV shows including Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC), Ricky Gervais’ Extras (BBC) and his own wine show on the Food Network Channel. You may have even spotted him in the Somersby Cider advert.

"James Dowdeswell is a real master of the comedian's craft" - Chortle
